17 projects settled in China-Central and Eastern Europe International Industrial Cooperation Park with a total investment of 7.83 billion yuan

Xinhua News Agency, Ningbo, June 9 (Reporter Wei Yijun) -- As one of the economic and trade activities of the Second China-CEE Countries Expo and International Consumer Goods Expo, the China-CEE Countries Industrial Cooperation Matchmaking Meeting was held in Yuyao, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province on June 9. The event aims to further deepen the mutual understanding between Ningbo and CEE countries and enhance industrial cooperation.

At the matchmaking meeting, 17 projects, including Hungary Quantum Cement Project, Hungary Community Hospital Project and Estonia Edge Computing Communication Smart Street Light Project, were signed and settled in China-CEE International Industrial Cooperation Park with a total investment of 7.83 billion RMB. Yuyao City promoted the China-CEE International Industrial Cooperation Park, and Latvian and Hungarian officials in China made on-site promotions in the fields of basic science and manufacturing respectively.

In order to facilitate the practical landing of these projects, China-CEE International Industrial Cooperation Park has clearly defined the relevant comprehensive supporting measures, such as accelerating the construction of the Central and Eastern European SME Cluster with a total investment of 955 million yuan, and implementing the special cultivation fund of 10 million yuan for Central and Eastern European projects.

Since its inauguration in June last year, the China-CEE International Industrial Cooperation Park has built a number of science and innovation platforms such as the Central and Eastern Europe (Budapest) Innovation Base and Ningbo Central and Eastern Europe Innovation Base, and strengthened communication and liaison with the embassies of Hungary and Slovenia in China, the European Innovation and Technology Organization, the Hungarian European Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Industrial Park and other institutions, and actively explored cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries in the fields of science and technology, talent, cultural tourism, trade and commerce. At present, the park is negotiating more than 30 projects in Central and Eastern Europe.
