Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency formally signed a memorandum of cooperation in science and technology innovation

At the plenary session of the 7th China-Jiangsu International Industry-University-Research Cooperation Forum and Transnational Technology Transfer Conference held in November this year, Wang Qin, Director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Ivana Vara-Magtova, Consul General of Slovakia in Shanghai, representative of Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency, formally signed a memorandum of cooperation in science and technology innovation, in which both sides clearly focus on clean technology, information and communication technology, future manufacturing, urbanization and other fields, jointly implement industrial R&D cooperation programs, promote and support entities such as enterprises of both sides to carry out joint R&D of new products or new processes.



Since this year, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology has overcome the impact of the epidemic and actively maintained close communication and contact with the Slovak side, especially in September this year, Wang Qin, Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, held a video conference with Peter Blaskovic, CEO of the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency, and the two sides reached a consensus on the content of the memorandum of cooperation. The signing of this MOU is another new breakthrough in the province's open innovation work, and is the eighth industrial R&D co-funding mechanism established by the province after the countries and regions of Israel, Finland, UK, Czech Republic, Norway, Ontario, Canada and Victoria, Australia, which will effectively expand the province's global innovation partnership network and further deepen the science and technology of the province and relevant countries in Central and Eastern Europe It will effectively expand the global innovation partnership network of our province and further deepen the science and technology exchange and cooperation between our province and relevant countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
