On the morning of June 9, the High-end Think Tank Forum on High Quality Development of Local Cooperation in China-Central and Eastern European Countries was held. The forum released the annual important research results of the China-CEE Local Cooperation Network.

We will earnestly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the China-CEE Leaders Summit and the spirit of his congratulatory letter to this year's China-CEE Expo, promote the construction of China-CEE Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone at a high level, and build the zone into a new hub integrating the "Belt and Road Initiative” and docking the European economic circle. The demonstration zone will be built into a new hub of the "Belt and Road" initiative to connect with the European economic circle, a new platform to carry the economic and trade cooperation initiatives of China and CEE countries, and a new high ground for local exploration of international cooperation system innovation.

Wang Linggui said that at present, as the breadth and depth of China's foreign cooperation is enhanced, and as the comprehensive deepening of reform and high-quality opening to the outside world move into a new stage. The form, subject and content of local participation in China-CEE cooperation have been expanded as never before. I hope Zhejiang and Ningbo will look at local cooperation from a broader perspective, pay attention to innovative practices, use various forms flexibly, and explore new cooperation potentials. Think tank scholars should focus on topics such as strengthening top-level design, promoting local cooperation with regional development strategies of CEE countries and the "Belt and Road Initiative", actively participating in local cooperation mechanisms within the framework of China-EU cooperation, centralizing the dispatch and rational allocation of local resources, etc., pooling ideas, cutting precisely, discussing in depth from various angles, based on a new historical perspective, and providing a comprehensive summary of intellectual services. We will take a comprehensive summary of the new historical orientation, push the intellectual services to a new level, a new stage and a new horizon, and better serve China-CEE cooperation and local development. The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has a good foundation for cooperation with Zhejiang and Ningbo, and has worked together to carry out research on a number of major topics, which has had a wide impact on society.
