On May 19, China-CEEC Innovation Cooperation Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the “Research Center”) conducted a research visit to XNode Innovation Platform in Shanghai. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on international sci-tech collaboration and potential future  cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe. Frane Sesnic, Director of Zagreb Innovation Center in Croatia, also participated in the research, injecting new vitality into the cooperation.

As a professional innovation incubator and accelerator, XNode provided a detailed introduction to the Research Center and Frane Sesnic regarding its strengths and experience in technology R&D, market expansion, and business model innovation. XNode is committed to providing comprehensive services for global innovation projects, supporting their rapid growth and expansion into international markets. Frane Sesnic expressed strong recognition of XNode’s professional capabilities, noting that its extensive experience and resources would bring new development opportunities for tech-driven projects at Zagreb Innovation Center.

During the exchange, both parties agreed that strengthening international sci-tech cooperation is the key to enhancing global competitiveness. XNode stated that it would leverage its expertise to provide tailored services for tech projects in Central and Eastern Europe, including technology evaluation and optimization, market research and positioning, and business model design, helping them adapt to international market demands and improve competitiveness. Frane Sesnic affirmed  that Zagreb Innovation Center would actively participate in the cooperation, facilitating connections between its tech projects and XNode to achieve mutual benefits.

This research visit laid a solid foundation for cooperation between the Research Center and XNode. Moving forward, the two parties will engage in comprehensive, in-depth collaboration across project incubation, technology R&D and talent exchange, working together to establish a new benchmark for international sci-tech cooperation and drive innovation and development between China and CEE countries.
