On November 26^th, 2025, the 7^th Session of the China-Serbia Joint Committee Meeting on Scientific and Technological Cooperation was successfully held via video link in Beijing and Belgrade. The meeting was co-chaired by Chen Jiachang, Vice Minister of Science and Technology of China, and Bela Balint, Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of Serbia. Marija Gnjatović, State Secretary of the Serbian Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, also attended the meeting.

The China-CEEC Innovation Cooperation Research Center was invited to participate in the meeting. During the session, the two sides were briefed on the latest developments in science, technology, and innovation policies in both countries. They summarized the overall progress of China-Serbia scientific and technological cooperation since the 6^th Session and reached a consensus on priority areas and key tasks for future cooperation.
