On March 24, 2026, a delegation led by Gabriela Kiryakova, Vice Rector of Trakia University in Bulgaria, visited the China-CEEC Innovation Cooperation Research Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Research Center"). The two sides held in-depth exchanges and explored potential cooperation.

During the visit, Ms. Wu Yuxia, Vice Director of the Research Center, extended a warm welcome to the expert delegation. The delegation toured the Research Center and gained a comprehensive understanding of its platform role and achievements in advancing innovation cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries. Subsequently, the delegation held a special matchmaking meeting with the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Ningbo University of Technology. Focusing on key fields such as digital technology and intelligent systems, the two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on collaborative scientific and technological innovation and joint talent cultivation, and signed a cooperation memorandum to clarify the priorities and implementation plans for follow-up cooperation, so as to promote the synergy of scientific research resources and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.

In addition, the delegation also visited Zhejiang Fashion Institute of Technology and Ningbo Shuxie Xinyi Technology Co., Ltd. successively, where they held in-depth discussions on the industry-education integration model and the transformation path of scientific and technological achievements respectively, further expanding cooperation space and building consensus among multiple parties.

This visit has effectively built a precise matchmaking channel between Trakia University of Bulgaria and universities and enterprises in Ningbo, further expanded the international cooperation network of the Research Center, injected new impetus into the in-depth cooperation between China and Bulgaria in education, scientific research, technology transformation, talent exchange and other fields, and promoted the continuous deepening and solid progress of bilateral innovation cooperation.
