On the morning of June 30th, a delegation led by Fu Xiao, Chairman (President) of the Ningbo Federation of Social Sciences (Academy of Social Sciences) and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, visited the China-CEEC Innovation Cooperation Research Center (hereinafter referred to as “the Research Center”) and provided guidance. The visiting delegation also included Wang Minghui, Deputy Director of the Office of the Ningbo Federation of Social Sciences, and Yan Manwei, Fourth-level Consultant of the Scientific Research Management Department. A warm reception was extended by the leadership of Ningbo University of Technology (NBUT), including Zhang Shuichao, Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President; Wu Xiaoling, Member of the University Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department; and Zhang Xinguang, Director of the Development Center for Humanities and Social Sciences.

During the symposium, Zhang Shuichao outlined the university’s strategic development plans and its major achievements in serving local economic and social development. Zhang Xinguang introduced the recent progress of NBUT’s work in the humanities and social sciences, followed by an exchange of views on fostering future synergy and collaboration with the Research Center. Wang Bo, Executive Director of the Research Center, then reported on the recent research outcomes of the Ningbo Eurasian Research Center, and delivered a thematic presentation on the Research Center’s think tank initiatives, laboratory development, and future key research priorities.

During the interactive session, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the development of humanities and social sciences in higher education and think tank construction. Fu Xiao fully affirmed the Research Center’s recent achievements and offered valuable insights and suggestions for its subsequent development.
